Claims Assistant

The Washington Counties Risk Pool, a public sector liability/property joint self-insurance entity located in Tumwater, Washington, is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Claims Assistant.


This position's primary focus is to perform general support functions for the WCRP claims department, with responsibilities that include, but are not limited to database management, accounts payables/receivables, and various loss information reports.

Applicants for the Claims Assistant position must have at least three years general office support experience and two years of accounts payable/receivable background, along with a valid unrestricted Washington driver's license. Extensive experience using and managing an electronic claims database software system is preferred, while substantial experience specifically using Riskmaster® is preferred.


The present salary for Claims Assistant is $36,821 to $45,285 annually, DOQ. A generous benefits package is available that includes health and life insurances, paid vacation, sick leave and holidays, and retirement allowance.

Senior Claims Lead- Seattle, WA


An "A" rated national carrier is expanding into the General Liability market and is looking for a Senior Claims Examiner to work out of their home office. This person will concentrate on handling all new General Liability claims as well as establishing Best Practices and other development projects associated with creating the G/L Claims Department. General Liability coverage will be offered to this company's construction wrap-up customers so Large Loss Experience and any experience handling Construction Liability or Construction Defect is a huge plus. Workers Compensation experienced would be desired as well. This person will report to the Division Claims Officer and will have the opportunity to move into a management position as the book of business continues to grow. Compensation will depend upon experience and the client is trying to find someone local if at all possible.
