KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

· Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate settlement of liability claims including in person contact with customers securing recorded statements.

· Coordinate with Store Mangers and Assistants for in-store settlements

· Communicate and support attorneys on Safeway’s litigation cases

· Determine liability/negligence based on State case law.

· Maintain contact with non-attorney represented customers/claimants.

· Manage litigated cases, answer interrogatories, and attend depositions, court hearings, and mediations.

· Supervise investigations, and vendors.

· Travel 20%

· Other projects as assigned
